The RIFA Rail Industry Fire Association AGM 2022, lunch and CPD event took place in July 2022. New Terra’s Dan Jackson was elected vice chair.
Our Fire Safety Principal Consultant, Dan Jackson EngTech FIET, C.Build E CABE, MIFSM was elected vice chair at the RIFA Rail Industry Fire Association AGM 2022.
Dan will be proudly supporting the newly elected chair, Michael Barnes to help steer RIFA over the next couple of years.

The 2022 RIFA AGM was hosted at the prestigious Union Jack Club in Southbank, London where fire safety stakeholders within the rail industry gathered to discuss fire safety in rail matters, networked and undertook CPD which was delivered by industry experts.
RIFA members include; The London Fire Brigade, Network Rail, HS2, system installers, manufacturers and individuals keen to learn and contribute to fire safety in rail.
CPD was delivered by Dan Jackson and Honeywell on their product range including Li-Ion Tamer – technology that improves the safety of Li-Ion batteries in railway environments.
Dan thanks the RIFA committee and past chair and vice chair and recommends any person or organisation working in the fire safety or fire engineering industry in Rail to enquire about becoming a RIFA – Rail Member.
